Purpose & Objectives
Wahrheit & Vernunft, believing in the Bible as the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, and as the sole authority for faith and practice, and acknowledging its adherence to the teaching of Jesus Christ, declares its purpose is to glorify God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Therefore, our objectives are, but are not limited to, assisting the church of the Lord Jesus Christ in:

Leading people into a more profound knowledge and enjoyment of God (Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Psalms 16; 42; 63; Proverbs 9:9-10; Matthew 22:37; 28:18-20; Mark 12:30; Luke 10:27; 1 Corinthians 3:2; 2 Peter 3:18);

Fostering the development of the Christian mind and spiritual formation (Romans 8:5-7; 12:1-3; 1 Corinthians 2:15-16; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Galatians 4:9; Colossians 1:28-29; 3:2);

Equipping Christians for ministry and apologetics with polemics by facing the various objections to the Christian faith both biblically and rationally, thus aiding in the church obeying the commandments of 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, Ephesians 4:11-13, and 1 Peter 3:15);

Proclaiming the gospel message correctly and passionately (Acts 6:4; 20:27; 1 Corinthians 2:1-5; 2 Timothy 3:16; 4:2; Colossians 1:28-29; 2 Peter 1:20-21);

Earnestly praying for God to call individuals to bring about reformation in His church.
Giving God all the glory and praise that is His.
Our Covenant
Wahrheit & Vernunft promises to glorify God in the holiness of life.

We will strive to walk in all holiness and humility in order to render our fellowship delightful to God, joyful to ourselves, and lovely to the rest of the Lord’s people.

We will strive to live in obedience to the moral precepts of Scripture while recognizing Christian liberty if Scripture has neither required nor forbidden a practice.

We will strive to use all scriptural means of growing in grace, including systematic reading of the Scriptures, consistent private and family prayer, and regular participation in our meetings.
Wahrheit & Vernunft promises to glorify God in our ministry endeavors.

We will meet together on the Lord’s Day with our local churches and at other times, as the Lord shall give opportunity, to serve, savor, and glorify God in worship.

We will strive together for the truths of the gospel.

We will sustain the doctrines of the church in accordance with our Statement of Faith and not hold any settled convictions contrary to it.

We will keep the unity of the Spirit and avoid causes and causers of undue division.

We will contribute, as God shall bless us, to the support and ministry of our local churches by systematic and proportionate giving.

We will seek the salvation of the lost and hasten the spread of the gospel to all peoples.

We will recognize and submit to the discipline and authority of our local churches.

We will pray that the person of God, through His Spirit, would be manifest among us for the glory and increase of His church.

We will, if we move from this ministry, unite with some other ministry as soon as possible under God’s leadership.
Wahrheit & Vernunft promises to glorify God in our relationships with one another.

In love, we will stir up one another to love and do good works and not allow a brother or sister to continue in sin.

In love, we pray for one another.

In love, we will bear one another’s burdens.
-
In love, we will bear with one another’s weaknesses, failings, and infirmities with much tenderness and forgiveness.

In love, we will speak to and about one another to edify.

In love, we will seek reconciliation when we have been wronged or wronged by another.
This is the covenant Wahrheit & Vernunft gladly and humbly submits to, out of fear of the Lord, Whose we are and Whom we desire to serve. To Him be glory now and forever. Amen.
Our covenant extends to those who we work with as clients and business partners.
