Founder & Principal

Jason D. Crowder

Jason D. Crowder was licensed to the ministry in January 1996, followed by ordination to the ministry in October 1998. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mobile in December 1998, earning a BA in religion with minors in English and psychology. Crowder completed his MDiv in theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. He later achieved his doctorate in theological studies, concentrating on philosophical theology and apologetics, in 2011 from Columbia Evangelical Seminary. Additionally, he has completed four years of post-doctorate studies in classical and medieval philosophy at the University of the Free State. He also has an MA by research in ancient Greek philosophy from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2024.

Crowder is the author of Philosophy, Who Needs It? A Laymans Introduction to Philosophy. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has served as an editor for a peer-reviewed journal. Since 2015, Crowder has served on the board of three Christian nonprofits in varying capacities (2015-19; 2017-24; 2025- present). He has taught various philosophy, religion, and theology courses at several institutions for nearly two decades. He and his wife, Rebekah, reside in the greater Houston metro.

David W. Bailey

David W. Bailey was ordained to the ministry in May 1989. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida in December 1987, earning a BA in English. Bailey completed his MDiv at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990. He earned his PhD in 1994 from the same institution.

Bailey is the author of Speaking the Truth in Love: The Life and Legacy of Roger Nicole. He served as Director of the Orlando Center of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in the late 1990s, teaching various courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Bailey has pastored several churches (including his current congregation, Cottondale Baptist Church), and for three years, he was the academy chaplain at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Georgia. He enjoys reading, fishing, Apple tech, and football (New Orleans Saints and Florida Gators). He and his wife, Dawn, have lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, since 2013. They have four children and four grandchildren.

C. B. Manning

C. B. Manning recently retired from a productive career as a technical writer and editor. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University with a double major in Journalism and Religion, he began his career as a reporter and editor. He returned to school and became a technical writer in the oil and gas industry after working at several newspapers in north-central Texas.

Manning has prepared curricula and taught numerous semesters of adult Sunday school classes. He is an avid reader with an extensive library of biblical studies and Christian doctrine. He and his wife, Karen, have been married for about 35 years and have four children. Three of them served in the military, and all the children are married or in significant relationships. He and his wife attend a non-denominational Protestant church, where they have been members for over 30 years.

He is passionate about the gospel message and ensuring that people have access to solid, biblical, and theological books.
